bold re-introduction by nicola roberts

In the music videos for the opening singles to Cinderella's Eyes, former Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts introduces herself as a solo artist whose personal aesthetic direction boldly marries colors and prints.

"Once named the least desirable member of Girls Aloud, the transformation of Nicola Roberts from pasty and awkward backing singer into glowing, haute couture pop songstress has been a magnificent spectacle," wrote Robert Copsey of Digital Spy. In my opinion, her sound and image offer a refreshing interpretation of pop music and culture.

'Beat of my drum' shows Nicola in colorful prints, dancing to infectious beats and lyrics.

'Lucky day' follows Nicola walking in a short floral print dress through the streets of the East Village in New York City with special effects added to her movement.

Given her long association with Girls Aloud, I praise Nicola's artistic direction in producing different and original work to distance herself from said association and stand-alone as a solo artist.
